Imagine you are in a snooker hall. You watch a stunning pot, you are very impressed. You move to another table and again watch a cracking pot. You keep moving seeing one brilliant shot, and move on. What you don't see is that after each pot, the white ball was out of position, and each player you saw lost. This is akin to some OO courses where each topic/lab seems easy and impressing, but only partly connect that topic/lab with the following topics/labs. Unfortunately the first time you try to fully connect all the topics/labs is on your project. |
